The apartment itself deserves careful thought too. Bigger isn’t automatically better. Others decide they need more room and that’s perfectly reasonable too. The right choice usually depends less on square footage and more on how life is likely to change over the next few years.

In the end, that’s what gated communities seem to offer more than anything else.

And once people experience that, it’s surprisingly difficult to imagine living any other way.
